Making uphills easier.
Walking uphill requires some work: gravity sees to that! But it does not require as much work as some people believe. The extra effort that you can see many hill-walkers make is actually them unknowingly working against themselves. Their poor technique makes each step harder. But they have no reason to question what they are doing, after all "uphill is hard, isn't it?" There is a list of simple things that can be done to make that burden easier.
